Day 1 – Arrival

Be welcomed upon arrival by the representative of Dinknesh Ethiopia Tour and transfer in to your hotel.

O/N – Jupiter or Panaroma or Ghion or Churchill hotel

Day 2 – Addis – Mekelle

In the morning, fly to Mekelle and after lunch have a city tour of Mekelle to visit the palace of Emperor Yohannes IV, and the museum and liberty statue of Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF).

O/N – Axum Hotel

Day 3 – Mekelle – Wukro

Explore the rock-hewn churches of Tigray – Wukro Cherqos, Abreha Atsbeha, and Degum Sillassie. And drive to Wukro for overnight.

O/N –Top View Hotel

Day 4 – Wukro

This day you will visit rock churches of Tigray – Abune Yemata, Mariam Korkor and Mequedi Yohannes. To visit these churches you need climbing steep mountains. Then, drive back to the same hotel for overnight.

Day 5 – Wukro – Mekelle

Visit the other churches carved out of rock - Petros Paulos, Milihaizenghi, and Adi Kesho. And drive to Mekelle for overnight.

O/N – Axum Hotel

Day 6 – Mekelle - Addis

Fly back to Addis and have a leisure time in Addis.

In the evening, you will be guest of Dinknesh Ethiopia Tour at one of the best traditional restaurants in Addis where you will taste the variety of Ethiopian meals and watch the folkloric dances of the different Ethiopian people.
